Recycled Water Annual Report
  • Recycled Water Annual Report

  • Rows
  • Is Water Corporation is the recycled water supplier?*
  • Quality of recycled water
The use of recycled water must comply with the approved conditions to maintain quality. If the scheme requires monitoring of chlorine levels, UV, pH, turbidity, and suspended solids (SS), these parameters must be recorded and retained. During audits, these records will be reviewed to verify compliance with the approved conditions.

Please include sampling results for each site code and refer to your approval conditions for specific microbial monitoring requirements.

If the sites are not representative of the parameters listed below, please use the template (Annual report template) to submit the sampling results.

    Parameter tested (examples)

    • Microbiology: E. coli, Clostridia, Coliphages
    • Physicochemical: Cl level, pH, SS
  • Monthly sampling is conducted by the Water Corporation?*
  • Are you a recycled water receiver, with sampling conducted by the supplier other than Water Corporation?*

  • Emergency and Incident Management

Provide a summary of any events or issues that affected recycled water quality or resulted in non‑compliance with guideline values. Please refer to the emergency response protocol page 42 of the Guidelines for the non-potable uses of recycled water in Western Australia

    Examples include:

    • Two consecutive microbial results at regulatory sampling points exceeding the health‑based quality objectives outlined in the DoH approval.
    • Algal bloom events.
    • Cessation or incidents within the recycling supply scheme lasting more than 24 hours.
    • Sewage spills.
  • Major Infrastructure Works Carried Out

    • Major changes to WWTP
    • Change to disinfection system where different from WWTP
    • Existing scheme – changes to the storage system (e.g., new or differently sized tank/pond that is not a like‑for‑like replacement)
    • Existing scheme – new end use location
    • Sampling point location change

Note: Major changes to the WWTP are only required if the supplier is not Water Corporation. Water Corporation liaises directly with the Department of Health regarding any WWTP upgrades.

  • Have any of the above changes occurred to the recycled water scheme?*
